Moujjadarah 1 cup lentils 4 cloves crushed garlic 1 heaping tsp. cumin 1 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. pepper 1/16 tsp. cinnamon 1 bay leaf 3 cups water 1/2 onion 2/3 cup couscous/rice Boil water, add lentils and spices. Simmer 30 minutes. Slice and saute onions until very brown. Cook rice and couscous.
